Why so racist, Olan Rogers?

so the Ghost In The Stalls a.k.a. IT’S A MONDAY video made its way to my dash. and i thought it was pretty funny! so i went to check out Olan Rogers’s site, and what do i see? shitty, urban outfitters-esque racist hipster shirts. the dreamcatcher one is annoying, but the cat in the headdress, now that is some primo racist bullshit.

and to make matters worse, at least part of the money’s going to charity! all the more reason for white ppl to clamor and bleat that not only is cultural appropriation not hurting anyone (FALSE) but it’s actively HELPING people in this case! i mean never mind that it’s totally possible for an action to be helpful to one group in need whilst also really detrimental to another. i think notions like that might be a little too fucking advanced for the whitesplainers crew here on tumblr.

anyone else want to try using the contact page to talk some sense into this dude? about how maybe he and his cause would be better helped by not riding exploitative trends to make a buck and instead coming up with some genuinely original designs that don’t ALSO shit all over colonized folks? cuz i seriously cannot right now.
