That while I am all for equal rights for everyone on every level, for the respect and understanding each other’s cultures, religions, sexual orientation (or lack thereof), gender (or lack thereof. Ours is a world of many prejudices and unfair privileges, of ghastly inequality and hideous rights violations, and I don’t stand for any of them. et cetera et cetera…*

BUT.

Some “social justice” blogs are just too easy to take the piss out of.

People who say you can’t be discriminatory towards white people, or too inconsiderate/begrudging towards cisgender straight males, everything is whitewashed and it’s my fault, everything is appropriation if it’s not your immediate culture and you have no right to use designs/images/clothing from other cultures out of pure aesthetic admiration (which I, as an art student, am doing quite a lot), anything written by a white or European person is somehow inherently imperialist, racist, or “erases” other cultures, I could go on.

And if I think a statement from a self-proclaimed “social justice warrior” is worthy of ridicule rather than the usual applause and bandwagoning, I will comment on it as such.

This will likely be a rare occurrence as I’m too goddamn lazy to reblog EVERY butt-hurt tumblr justice-monger with a smart/angry comment attached.
My regular blog schedule will still mostly consist of european metal, my art, ASOIAF, LOTR, Disney movies, and anything to do with vikings, celts, slavs, and finns.

Unfollow, send hate mail, do whatever you like. After all, it’s a free forum and you’re allowed to express your opinions as I have expressed mine.
